Rain-Soaked December Adventure Through Boston's Diverse Terrain!
Action-packed day from the get-go! I took Shrunga out for a winter hunt this December afternoon around Boston. The partly cloudy skies brought some rain our way, but that didn't slow us down one bit. We headed out with Joseph Company ready to make some wicked good memories in the field.
Once the stage was set, we focused on spot-and-stalk and still hunting techniques to work the area. The Boston terrain gives us solid opportunities for these methods, especially when we're pushing woods and moving through different zones. We didn't notch a tag on this hunt, but every hour in the field was worth it. That's just how it goes sometimes - that dog don't hunt every single day, no suh!
The rain kept things interesting as we moved through our hunting grounds. Still hunting worked well in these conditions, and we covered good ground using our spot-and-stalk approach. Boston's diverse landscape gives hunters plenty of options to glass different areas and adapt techniques as needed.
