Wicked Good Boston Hunt: Rain, Blinds & Memories Made!test
What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! I had the pleasure of taking Shri and their crew out for a fall afternoon hunt around Boston. We started our hunt at 2:45 pm under partly cloudy skies with some rain moving through. The weather made for wicked good hunting conditions as we set up for our blind hunt with Joseph Company.
Once the stage was set, we focused on still hunting techniques combined with calling and proper scent control. The crew did great staying quiet in the blind while we glassed the area. Even with the rain coming and going, we kept pushing through and working our calling sequences. Boston's hunting grounds gave us plenty of opportunities to sit a stand and watch for movement.
We didn't notch a tag on this hunt, but every hour in the field was worth it. The rain kept things interesting and that dog don'ttest hunt when it comes to giving up early. No suh, we stayed committed to our techniques and made some solid memories out there on The Cape area.
