Wicked good peacock bass action in Boston's quiet waters!
Hot bite and happy crew! San and I headed out for a late afternoon fall fishing trip around Boston with cloudy skies throughout the day with rain clearing later. The conditions were wicked good for getting after some fish in the backcountry waters. Lines were tight from the start as we worked through our Joseph Company fishing adventure.
Once the stage was set, we focused on fly fishing, spin casting, and bait fishing to target the peacock bass holding in the structure. Boston's backcountry fishing spots are perfect for this kind of versatile approach - you can switch between techniques as conditions change throughout the day. The peacock bass were really cooperating, and we had some solid action with multiple fish coming to the boat. We wrapped up the trip with great smiles and a slicked out ride back to the dock!
