Stripers are biting hard in Boston's backcountry this fall season!
Action-packed day from the get-go! Shankaramurthy and I hit the waters around Boston early morning this fall, starting our trip right at sunrise. The weather started clear but became cloudy in the afternoon, which actually worked in our favor. We launched for a backcountry fishing adventure with Joseph Company, ready to make some memories that would last a lifetime.
With our gear rigged and ready, we worked through multiple techniques to target the striped bass in these wicked productive Boston waters. Started with fly fishing in the shallows, then switched to spinning with lures when the action picked up, and finished with some bait fishing in the deeper pockets. Boston's backcountry spots are on fire right now because they offer that perfect mix of structure and current that striped bass love. Lines were tight most of the morning, and we wrapped up with great smiles all around - no suh, what a day on the Cape!
