Sanjana and I crushed walleye using fly, spin, and bait tactics!
Hot bite and happy crew! Sanjana and I headed out for an early afternoon fall fishing trip around Boston. The partly cloudy skies with rain clearing later made for wicked good conditions on the water. We had slicked out conditions that made for a smooth ride to our backcountry spots.
Once the stage was set, we worked through fly fishing, spin casting, and bait fishing techniques to target the walleye that were holding in the area. Boston's backcountry waters are perfect for this kind of versatile approach - you can switch between techniques as conditions change throughout the day. The walleye were cooperative and we managed to put some nice fish in the boat. Lines tight all afternoon and we wrapped up the trip with great memories and smiles all around!
