San and I dominated Boston waters with wicked good results!
One for the books today! San and I headed out late morning this fall for some wicked good backcountry action around Boston. Partly cloudy skies made for perfect conditions as we worked the waters looking for some serious fish. The boat traffic was nuts early on, but we found our spots and lines stayed tight throughout our session.
With our gear rigged and ready, we mixed up our approach using fly fishing, spin casting, and bait fishing to target whatever was moving. San connected with a solid Great Barracuda that put up a real fight, followed by a nice King Mackerel that nearly dragged bait right out of the boat! Boston's backcountry waters are perfect for this kind of mixed technique fishing - the variety keeps things interesting and the fish responding. We wrapped up with great catches and smiles all around, no suh!
