Dive into a Fishing Bonanza: Test Your Skills on Krishna's Waters!
I had a great time taking Shrunga out for a BackCountry fishing trip with Joseph Company in Tudki, Shivamogga. May is usually a good month for fishing in the Krishna River basin, with plenty of fish active in the warmer waters. We met up at Boston Logan International Airport at 11:00 am, ready for our Fishing test adventure. The weather was a bit cloudy with a chance of rain, but that didn't dampen our spirits one bit.
We tried out a bunch of different techniques throughout the day. We started with some DeepSea fishing and Jigging, then switched to Trolling when that didn't pan out. We even gave BowFishing, FlyFishing, and IceFishing a shot, mixing it up to see what would work best. As the day went on, we tried our hand at BaitCasting, HeavyTackle, KiteFishing, and LightTackle too. We didn't stop there – we also gave SpeyFishing, SurfCasting, DriftFishing, and SpearFishing a go. It was great to show Shrunga so many different ways to fish.
Though we didn't manage to land any big prize, we still had a great time out on the water, enjoying the scenery and good company. The cloudy skies and the chance of rain actually made for some interesting conditions on the Krishna River basin. We talked about how different weather can affect fishing and shared some good laughs as we tried out all those techniques. It's days like these that remind me why I love guiding – it's not just about catching fish, but about the whole experience of being out there.
