Chasing Vibrant Trout in the Stunning Kaveri River Backcountry
What a day we had out on the water with shrunga h, exploring the BackCountry fishing around Boston Logan International Airport. March is a prime time to be chasing Brook trout in this region, as the warming waters of the Kaveri River Basin attract these beautiful fish. With clear conditions throughout the day, we had the perfect setup to make the most of our time on the river.
As soon as we hit the water, the fish started to cooperate. We worked a variety of techniques, mixing in some fishing to really cover the water and find where the Brook trout were holding. It didn't take long before shrunga h was hooked up, battling a feisty Brook trout that put up one heck of a fight. The fish's vibrant colors flashed in the sunlight as it made its powerful runs, but shrunga h stayed calm and landed it beautifully. We had several more solid hook-ups, each one a thrill to be a part of.
Between the steady action and the gorgeous natural setting, it was just an all-around great day out on the river. The Kaveri River Basin is such a special fishery, and having the chance to share it with passionate anglers like shrunga h is what makes this job so rewarding. Whether you're a seasoned BackCountry angler or brand new to the sport, a trip with the Joseph Company is the perfect way to experience the best fishing that Boston Logan International Airport has to offer.
