Gopal's winter bluegill adventure delivers wicked good results!
Non-stop bites all day long! I took Gopal out for a winter morning trip around Boston waters, starting early morning under partly cloudy skies with some rain and snow mixed in. The conditions were typical for this time of year, and we made the most of our time on the water with Joseph Company's Fishing test experience.
With our gear rigged and ready, we focused on working the inshore waters around Boston where the bluegill were holding. This area is wicked good for targeting these scrappy fish, especially during the winter months when they school up tight. The boat traffic was nuts earlier, but we found our rhythm and stayed on the fish. We wrapped up the trip with great smiles all around - no suh, it was a solid day!
Boston's inshore waters offer some of the best fishing opportunities on The Cape, and our Fishing test trips are designed to put you on fish year-round. Whether you're a seasoned angler or just getting started, these waters hold plenty of surprises and the action can be non-stop when conditions line up right. I've been running trips out of Boston for years, and the consistency of the fishing here keeps me coming back day after day. The winter months can be challenging with weather, but that's when the fish are often most cooperative and lines stay tight.
