Overcast Skies Drive White-tail Movement for Afternoon Harvest
Non-stop bites all day long! Shrunga and their crew joined us for an afternoon hunt during the late summer season, starting around 3:00 pm under cloudy skies throughout the day. The overcast conditions created perfect hunting weather, keeping temperatures comfortable and deer movement active as we headed into the field.
Once the stage was set, we focused on spot-and-stalk techniques combined with still hunting to work the area methodically. The crew managed to harvest White-tailed Deer using these proven methods, with the drive hunting approach helping us cover more ground when needed. The cloudy conditions worked in our favor, providing natural cover and keeping the deer calm as they moved through their regular patterns.
