Mixed Terrain Delivers Wicked Good Action Near Boston!
What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! I had the pleasure of taking Sanjana and their crew out for a fall hunt around Boston during the midday hours. The weather started clear but we knew clouds were rolling in for the afternoon. No suh, that didn't slow us down one bit - we were ready to make some memories that would last a lifetime!
Once the stage was set, we focused on spot-and-stalk techniques combined with some vehicle tracking to cover more ground. The white-tailed deer were moving wicked good through the area, and our ambush hunting approach paid off. Boston's mixed terrain gives us plenty of opportunities to glass different zones and adapt our strategy. We managed to sit a stand when the moment was right, and that dog definitely hunted today!

Let's go make this a regular thing - there's nothing quite like a productive day in the field around The Cape area!
